in the UK. They led the way in developing the battery powered
stairlift. When they began manufacturing battery powered
stairlifts, no other manufacturers were making them, but now
almost all manufacturers offer them.
Acorn manufactures more than 30,000 stairlifts every year. They
are highly respected in the stairlift industry and have
distribution centers all over the world.
